My Painting Efforts paid Off!

It was worth all the work to see the big smile on my

Tori's face when she realized I had made her jacket with her favorite 'critter' - penguins. Plus, I had incorporated soccer, which she loves to play and had won a trophy in. She especially loved the tiny squeaky penguin I tucked in the pocket; it was a pet play toy! In the layout she holds it together with (you guessed it) a penguin Webkinz!

Christmas Thoughts

I went out to lunch last Friday to celebrate a co-worker's birthday. We went to a new restaurant that that has just opened over a gift shop and florist center. The sun was shining through the windows and illuminating the poinsettias in the window, and the glassware. Of course, I was off shopping with my camera again.

Christmas Around the World

I can't wait to check out the links to download the huge kit that is being created by...everyone! The designers at 3Scrapateers have been busy too, and they have given me a sneak peek to play with! I made some awesome scraplets, and have my own link to upload them with! Now if I can figure out how to post the preview to what I made...

Ah good there it goes, and you can see the scraplets. The 2 on the bottom are .pngs and you can put your photos behind them. The 2 on top need to have you put your photos in front of them.

I am busy painting on jeans jackets again. My grandkids have put in requests this year, and I even have two commissions! Here is a photo of my painting table, with a couple of jackets in progress.

Getting Ready for Christmas

I guess it's time I updated this. Life has gotten the best of me and I have been...busy! I know I know, to blog is to live. But, one must eat too. My involvement with 3Scrapateers has kept me busy too, and I love every minute of it!
I will be involved next with the new Christmas Around the World kit which is a huge collaboration of designers, all putting together goodies in a FREE kit which 3Scrapateers will also be creating for. How am I involved? The same way I am at 3Scrapateers; by creating scraplets or other items with the design team items, and using those scraplets to both advertise and offer free samples of what is to come.
I will post some updates and links here as it progresses.
