Loving My Summer

Before-OK but too crowded and messy to work well.
This has been a relaxing summer and I am finally starting to see my craft barn come to be a work space instead of a storage space!
I have tables set up, supplies and treasures at hand, and am able to spend time playing happily with my various paintings, musings, and projects of all sorts.  It is a dream come true that has taken years to accomplish.
I think what really kicked it into action was having the "Root 16 Garden Club" join me there to glue together our little garden ornaments last month.
Here we have our meeting before beginning the projects.
Using waterproof glue and old china or glass, we made garden ornaments.

I have started setting monthly goals for myself and it has proven to work well.  Last month was "finish the laundry room" and I got the linoleum ordered and the contractor put it down, I purchased and had delivered the new washer and dryer, my son painted the walls and I dealt with the bins and boxes of items that had been stored on the walls.  I am still putting things away and finding new ways to arrange things, but I am also loving my new washer and dryer!
This month is make it a habit to go to the craft barn every day or evening and do one thing to progress; that should be easy and fun!
